The engineer who stamped the drawing is in the trailer.
On many commercial projects, the structural engineer delivers the stamped plans but is not involved in the day-to-day construction. We take a different approach by keeping our engineers connected with our construction team throughout the project. This allows us to address RFIs, value engineering decisions, and unexpected field conditions quickly, with the original design intent always in mind.
RFIs come back in hours, not days.
Our engineers work directly with the construction team, making it easier to address structural and civil RFIs as they come up. Many questions can be resolved through direct communication instead of being routed between separate companies. This helps our team make informed decisions and keep construction moving. Complex RFIs involving redesign return within 24–48 hours instead of the typical 5–7 day cycle.
Value engineering decisions are backed by the original designer.
We approach value engineering as more than a way to reduce costs. Our engineers and construction management team work together to evaluate materials, methods, constructability, and cost while protecting the original design requirements. You get practical options that consider both how the project was engineered and how it will be built.
Field-driven design changes are approved by the same PE who designed the system.
Unexpected site conditions and trade conflicts can require changes during construction. Our engineers remain involved, so proposed changes can be reviewed against the original design and coordinated with the crews performing the work. Keeping engineering and construction connected helps reduce delays and prevents field decisions from becoming larger problems later.

Most commercial GCs subcontract every trade. We self-perform core trades with owned crews and equipment. Our engineers stay connected with superintendents and field crews, allowing design questions, site conditions, and potential changes to be addressed by people who understand both the plans and the work happening on site. You get faster communication and practical solutions without unnecessary layers between your engineering and construction teams.
